In conjunction with Frankford’s Wellness Center, the Women’s Health Program offers a number of important health screenings throughout the year at Bucks County, Frankford and Torresdale. These preventive medicine efforts include screenings for breast cancer, skin cancer, colon cancer and osteoporosis. Tests are also administered to assess blood sugar and cholesterol levels, blood pressure and stroke risk. Literature, as well as one-on-one counseling with a health provider, is often offered when screening results are given.
