Selected science, liberal arts, humanities and elective courses totaling 72 credits are scheduled throughout the program. Additional elective courses are available up to  a maximum of 80 total credits.

Nursing courses are sequenced to three levels of achievement, with the clinical nursing component introduced in the second level, and progressed on a continuum. Clinical experiences are concurrent with theory and focus upon the application of the nursing process and implementation of therapeutic intervention in an acute care facility and a variety of healthcare settings.
