Frankford Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and approved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Departments of Health. The American Medical Association Council on Medical Education and Hospitals has also granted approval for the training of interns and residents. Through authorization by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Hospital provides a program of continuing education for area physicians.

The Hospital is a member of the American Hospital Association, the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, the Delaware Valley Hospital Council and The Associated Hospital Service of Philadelphia.
