Frankford Hospital and the School of Nursing are located in Northeast Philadelphia. This section of the
city offers students easy accessibility to Center City for shopping and entertainment.
The Josephine Hunter Building, located at 4918 Penn Street, accommodates both the School and students’ facilities. Well-equipped classrooms, conference rooms, computer laboratories, two nursing skills laboratories and science laboratory are also housed there.

The School library provides a main reading room and study carrels for individual use. Brightly and attractively furnished, the library contains thousands of volumes and a wide variety of professional journals, magazines and newspapers. Additional resource materials are available from the medical library of each Frankford Hospital location, the Public Library of Philadelphia and the libraries of Pennsylvania State University.

Students also enjoy study areas, conference rooms, lockers and lounges in the school. Students have the privilege of being able to purchase their meals from the Hospital cafeterias at minimum cost.
