Frankford Hospital School of Nursing Receives
Department of Labor and Industry Grant
Congratulations to the Frankford Hospital School of Nursing for recently
receiving a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry’s
Workforce Investment Board (WIB) in the amount of $76,200. This is the third
grant that the school has received from the WIB. Funds from this latest grant
will be used to purchase equipment for the school’s Nursing Arts Laboratory,
including simulators, a virtual IV system and a number of Hill-Rom hospital beds,
all of which will assist nursing students gain hands-on experience with the latest
instructional materials available.
