In a continuing effort to expand specialty medical services, Frankford Hospital recently opened a comprehensive Pain Management Center at its Torresdale Campus. Conveniently located in Suite 304 of Torresdale's Medical Office Building, the Center is directed by Thomas Zavitsanos, MD, a board certified anesthesiologist/pain specialist. Dr. Zavitsanos, along with Victoria Newbold, CRNP, a full-time nurse practitioner with special training in pain management, bring expertise in the treatment of a variety of pain disorders and conditions, including both pharmacologic and invasive interventions.

Initial appointments are readily available and made through Frankford's Pain Management Scheduling Call Center at 215-807-8222. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled by calling the Pain Management Center at 215-612-4060.
