 Breast cancer survivors treated through Frankford’s Breast Health Program gathered for an afternoon of food, fun and inspiration
at Frankford Hospitals’ annual Breast Cancer Survivors Luncheon.
 Lisa Farnin, a breast cancer survivor and board member of Gilda’s Club Bucks/Mont Counties, served as the luncheon’s guest
speaker. She talked about her personal journey through breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, and also shared
important information about support services offered through Gilda’s Club.

Formal luncheon honored the courage and strength of Frankford’s breast cancer patients now in survivorship.In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Frankford Hospitals’ Cancer Center recently held a formal luncheon
to honor breast cancer survivors who have been successfully treated through its Breast Health Program.
This year, the annual event was highlighted by an inspirational presentation by Lisa Farnin, a breast cancer survivor and
board member of Gilda’s Club, Bucks/Mont Counties. Ms. Farnin discusses Gilda's Club's outreach and support services for cancer
patients in the Bucks County area.
Frankford's surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists were also on hand to discuss the latest treatment options
for breast cancer and field questions from the audience.
