Frankford Hospital – Frankford recently expanded its ophthalmologic surgery services with the addition of the latest surgical equipment used to treat a range of diabetic eye conditions, retinal detachment and disorders, and cataracts.  New equipment is also available to perform cosmetic eye surgery, including eyelid rejuvenation.  The Department of Ophthalmologic Surgery is staffed by board-certified ophthalmologists who evaluate patients, consult with them on treatment options and perform the latest, appropriate surgical techniques when necessary.  By receiving eye care in a hospital setting, patients have immediate access to a range of health services for the treatment of other related or unrelated medical conditions.
