Choosing a residency program is a milestone in your medical education. Frankford Hospitals’ internship and residency programs
are committed to providing you the very best educational experience in a friendly community environment. Individualized instruction,
under the tutelage of our dedicated clinical and teaching faculty, ensures that each individual’s needs are met. Students
seeking an academic program in a caring, community setting should look first at Frankford.
We are proud of our role in medical education. Frankford offers the only osteopathic graduate medical education programs in
Bucks County, a rapidly growing suburb of Philadelphia. Our allopathic Transitional Year residency is the largest program
in the country and has turned out highly qualified residents each year since its inception in 1936. Up to one-half of all
our interns go on to accept chief residency positions in the categorical training programs of their choice.
The best way to find out about our medical education program is to schedule a rotation at Frankford during your third or fourth
year of medical school. We believe that your experience will convince you to continue your medical education at Frankford.
If you are unable to arrange a rotation at Frankford, we invite you to get to know us through a personal visit and a tour
of our facilities.
