Frankford’s combined program prepares a physician for board certification in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
During the academic year, each resident trains for a total of six months in each field. Full integration within the educational
program of each discipline is strongly encouraged. Residents consistently express increased confidence in both I.M. and E.R.
settings because of the complementary training they receive as part of this unique dual program.
