Dean M. Ruday, D.P.M
Head, Section of Podiatry
Frankford's Section of Podiatry is composed of 38 highly trained podiatric physicians who perform the latest techniques in
foot and ankle surgery. In addition, our podiatric physicians also treat a full spectrum of conditions regarding the foot
and ankle, ranging from elective surgery on bunion and hammertoe deformities and heel spur conditions to traumatic injuries
including fractures.
The Podiatry Section provides excellent care for various conditions such as arthritis, ulcerations, ingrown toenails, fungal
toenails, as well as complications from diabetes and sports related injuries. We also provide the latest training for podiatric
physicians by sponsoring a two-year Surgical Residency Program, which is regarded as one of the best in the Delaware Valley.
We currently provide postgraduate training for six podiatric surgical residents annually.
