Frankford Hospitals' Ophthalmology Service provides both medical and surgical eye care in all eye specialties. Many of the
ophthalmologists on our staff are fellowship trained in their respective subspecialties.
The Eye Service's expertise includes refractions; contact lens examinations and dispensing; cataract and refractive surgery
including the new Excimer form of LASIK surgery; treatment of diabetic eye problems, including retinal problems; medical and
surgical management of children's eye problems; medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma; and diagnosis and treatment of
various neurologic eye problems, including headaches related to eye conditions.
Frankford Offers Full Range of Ophthalmologic(Published 2-7-2005) Frankford recently expanded its ophthalmologic
surgery services with the addition of the latest surgical equipment used
to treat a range of diabetic eye conditions, retinal detachment and
disorders, and cataracts.
