Hepatitis C Clinic

Our staff provides screening, testing, and diagnosis for hepatitis C. Our specialists will develop treatment plans for patients who are positive for chronic HCV infection.  This care plan includes symptom management and medical management through drug therapy.

Our offices offer various forms of treatment for heatitis C including Interferon. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to treating hepatitis that involves the patient, gastroenterologist, nurse practitioner and primary care physician.

Alpha interferons stimulate white cells in the immune system to target hepatitic C viruses and also inhibit the ability of the virus to replicate in body cells.  This therapy can partly or largely eliminate the virus from detectible levels in the blood and can decrease liver inflammation.
