Cancers of the digestive tract can take many different forms, including various types and stages of cancers in the esophagus, stomach, colon, or rectum. Our practice prides itself on being your first source of care for prevention, detection, diagnosis, and collaboartive care for GI cancers.

We can evaluate, and advise on and treat, various conditions that increase risk of later developing cancers. We can also recognize signs and symptoms of potentially cancerous conditions requring further study. We assist in identifying cancers, working with Frankfords experienced radiologists. For patients diagnosed with GI cancer, our specialists can continue to serve as a primary point of contact, helping to manage and coordinate care, working to stage and develop a treatment plan, and answer questions and help patients find their way though the cancer care system. They work closely with The Cancer Center at Frankford, an outstanding clinical resource for patients offering downtown cancer care right in your neighborhood. Our GI doctors collaborate closely with Frankford’s skilled surgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists to create a plan and help each patient best find his or her way through the treatment phase of care.

Our specialists then continue to serve as your primary GI physicians, helping through recovery and long-term follow-up and monitoring.
