Aria Health’s Frankford Campus has proudly served the residents of Lower Northeast Philadelphia and the surrounding community since 1903. Constructed before neighboring landmarks Frankford High School and the Market-Frankford “El”, Aria Health-Frankford continues to serve the original mission of the hospital’s founder Dr. Joseph Ball, which was to provide convenient, high-quality medical care to his neighbors.
Our 115-bed hospital offers an array of emergency, inpatient, outpatient medical and surgical services. Also located on the Frankford Campus is Aria’s Health Center Clinic which handles more than 5,000 outpatient cases per year, along with the Aria Health School of Nursing, which opened a year after the hospital and is now the largest hospital-based nursing school in Pennsylvania.
