Our Nurse Practitioner
Aria Health Center for Gynecology & Women's Health
Our center is fortunate to have the services of highly qualified and experienced nurse practitioners who, along with our doctors, help to manage both our patients and our practice. These professionals see patients for regular office visits, both independently and with our physicians.
Also among areas of duty and special focus of our certified, registered nurse practitioners (CRNPs) are: teen health, breast health, and laser services. Our nurse practitioners serve as a vital resource for patient education and counseling. Just as our medical and office staff does, these CRNPs consider it their job to be there for patients, with answers to questions and ready availability of care.
Our nurse practitioner:
Tracy McGorry, BSN, MSN, CRNP, has a bachelor’s of science in nursing from Holy Family University and a master’s of science in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania (as a Healthcare of Women Nurse Practitioner), where she was in the Honor Society of Nursing. She has been certified in inpatient obstetrics since 2003 and as a women’s-health nurse practitioner since 1998. At Aria Health, Ms. McGorry has been a staff nurse in obstetrics and a nurse practitioner. She gained private-practice experience serving as a nurse practitioner in gynecologic care in a private gyn practice. She has been a clinical instructor in ob-gyn for nursing students at Thomas Jefferson University and at the University of Pennsylvania. She also worked as a staff educator in maternal-child health at Temple University Health System.
Ms. McGorry joined the staff of Aria’s Center for Gynecology & Women’s Health in 2006.
