Aria Health's thoracic surgery service offers experienced surgical treatment for conditions within the chest cavity, including conditions of the lungs, the thoracic and abdominal aorta, the esophagus, and the diaphragm. The section offers skilled expertise in chest operations performed as open surgery or as thorascopic procedures, including for such purposes as lung lobectomy.
Currently helping to lead the section is Richard S. Chang, MD. Dr. Chang trained at New York Medical College and Jefferson Medical College.
