Frankford Hospitals' 30th Annual Employee Service Recognition Dinner
On Tuesday, May 23, 2000, Frankford Hospitals honored their starring cast of employees for their years of service and hard
work at a formal dinner and awards presentation at Fisher's Tudor House in Bensalem, Pa.
The evening had a theater theme, honoring each "star" employee who celebrated 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and even 40-years
of employment at Frankford Hospitals! Employees celebrating 25 years or more also starred in a recognition video shown at
the start of the evening's festivities. The video will now be a yearly tradition.
What Would We Do Without You?
Mary Becker, 40 years
Mary Becker has served as an operating room nurse at Frankford for 40 years. Mary says that medicine, technology and the world
of healthcare have changed dramatically since she started her career at the Frankford Hospital - Frankford in 1960.
"I've learned a great deal, met wonderful people and wouldn't change a thing," she said.
Mary received special mention at the Recognition Dinner for being the employee with the most years of service. She received
her award from Frankford Hospitals' President and CEO Roy A. Powell. (right)
Frankford's Stellar Nursing Staff
Combined, (pictured from left) Mary Becker (40 years), Patricia Carson (30 years), Linda Hauptmann (30 years) and Josephine
Kusnerick (25 years), have given 125 years of service to Frankford as members of our nursing staff.
The devoted employees are friends as well as coworkers, taking a break from the action to smile for the camera!
Mary Clark, 30 Years
For the past 30 years, Mary Clark has been greeting students at Frankford's School of Nursing. As the School's receptionist,
Mary interacts with the students on a daily basis, assisting with paperwork and phone support.
